E-Mail: [hidden email] BioA native of Arizona, Carla and her husband, came to San Diego in 2001. With a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Carla worked in the communications industry for 12 years before deciding to stay at home with her first child. Now a mother of three girls, Carla understands that getting trained in self defense is essential. She became a Just Yell Fire certified trainer in early 2010. Since then, she has trained girls scouts, church groups and at schools. She is an ongoing instructor with the City of Santee Parks and Recreation. In addition to self defense training, Carla enjoys volunteering at her children's school and at their church. She also enjoys running and cycling, and competes in local duathlon events. |
