Master Sam is a 5th Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo though the World Taekwondo Federation and is also a Black Belt in Judo and Tangsoodo. Master Sam also has training in Hapkido, Hosinsul, and Jiu Jitsu.
In 2013, Master Sam was named “Best Coach” and “Best Personal Trainer” as voted on by readers of the Gresham Outlook and Sandy Post.
Master Sam is currently the Chief Operating Officer of USA Taekwondo for the State of Oregon. The United States Olympic Committee recognizes USA Taekwondo as the National Governing Body for the sport of Taekwondo in the United States. He is also the Director of Public Affairs for the Pan American Taekwondo Union (PATU). PATU oversees 42 member nations. |
